I agree with you. Unless it was my boyfriend, I would think that a guy who would invite me over to a party was just a friend. If he said he liked me I wouldn't believe it because he was drinking. Case in point Tell her how it is. Never assume. Guys don't like it when girls make assumptions so you shouldn't make them either.
