If you like the girl let her know before the drinking begins. And even then, it is best that you do non-alcohol related things if you are trying to get involved with someone new. You could always go out and have a glass of wine or two with dinner but inviting a girl over where there's lots of booze involved often can lead to problems and confusion and hurt feelings. I personally would have no respect for a guy that only had me over to his house to drink and I wouldn't take a guy seriously if he told me he had feelings for me while he had been drinking.
