I'm not sure if this will help, but in my Socio. class we just did group papers, which may or may not work for you. Basically it had to do with domestic abuse. One group had the victims (women) one had the abusers (men) & the other had the effects on the children. We all basically gave a review of information and then thought up programs for protecting the women & children or rehailitating the men.
It's a little hard to explain, but I hope it helped
