I have a paper due next week for my sociology class. We can pick anything in our book to write about (which is about any social issue imaginable). I can't think of anything good to write about because I have to find tons of info on it. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

Gang Culture, Alternative programs for juveniles for rehabilitation such as boot camps, group homes. Violence and the schools. Pennsylvania Amish, their culture, what makes them unique, and the politcs involved with the Amish and the state/federal government. Another one might be on the various holidays, possibly Christmas or New Year's Eve/Day for example where every country has their own social custom in how they celebrate it. That is if they Celebrate Christmas. Hopefully these ideas help.

I'm not sure if this will help, but in my Socio. class we just did group papers, which may or may not work for you. Basically it had to do with domestic abuse. One group had the victims (women) one had the abusers (men) & the other had the effects on the children. We all basically gave a review of information and then thought up programs for protecting the women & children or rehailitating the men.
