Jeter makes it; it's the A-Rod corrolary: time+success=benefit of the doubt (and deservedly). Plus, he's a fan favorite - they want to see him, and he puts on a great show (as well as his community work etc.) . . . he's really the reason why there is an all-star game. (I still hate him)
Giambi, however . . . somebody put him on the juice again.
He's also very lucky Sosa jacked himself up sneezing, or 'intestinal parasites' would be the highlight of my season to date . . . so funny, let the syphilis jokes begin.
