Another good example of this, for both men and women, might be "Pretty Woman." She gets her prince as he climbs the fire escape with roses, and he gets his dirty little hooker.
But, this begs the question, do guys really want a porn. star, or do they want a reformed porn. star? I haven't seen "The Girl Next Door," but I think they want a lady in the street and a freak in the bed, so to speak. I don't think any guy wants a girl who is truly filthy, they just think they are fun for awhile. They want a girl who is up for a good time, but who they can take home to their family too.
I also think that, for many men anyway, marriage is a part of their fantasy. It's just not on their mind from the age of six.
But eventually, they want it too. Who wouldn't want someone who would love and take care of you and fulfill your every need??? I think men and women ultimately have the same end goal, they just approach it in VERY, VERY different ways.
But, hey, call me idealistic, I could be wrong...
