I've seen both.
I preferred Riddick over Tomorrow, but that's b/c I didn't like Tomorrow's preachyness (is that a word?).

Riddick is definitely a matinee movie (I say that b/c I'm nto a huge sci-fi fan, but it was an action packed summer movie).

Then again I liked Knockaround Guys.
