Chronicles of riddick or the day after tomorrow.
If anyone has seen these movies, how were they and are they worth seeing again?
|
I've seen both.
I preferred Riddick over Tomorrow, but that's b/c I didn't like Tomorrow's preachyness (is that a word?). Riddick is definitely a matinee movie (I say that b/c I'm nto a huge sci-fi fan, but it was an action packed summer movie). Then again I liked Knockaround Guys. Just my $.0164679 worth -Mark |
I've seen both... I enjoyed Chronicles of Riddick even though I hadn't seen pitch black... but then again I'm a sci-fi geek (or is that dork?) and will love just about anything sci-fi.
Day after Tomorrow was okay... certainly entertaining but not what you could call "a good movie". It would be a good matinee or renter. |
I was forced into seeing The Chronicles of Riddick. I was bored within the first 15 minutes. The special effects were cool but that's about it. Then again, I've never been into action/war movies....unless you count Troy (mmmm....Brad).

If you want to see Riddick I recommend watching Pitch Black first. I've seen both and I liked them, although Tomorrow was a bit preachy like someone said before. I'm not a huge sci fi fan, but I did like Riddick.

ehhh... day after tomorrow is a typical "end of the world" movie.
i want to see riddick though. i love me some vin diesel!!!! mmmmm.... |
I went to see Riddick because I'm a good girlfriend and the boy wanted to see it really badly. I think he expected it to be like Dune. It wasn't.
The storyline was ok, but Vin Diesel ruined it for me. I just can't take him seriously. The moment he mumbled the line"It's been a long time since I've smelled beautiful" it was all over. I couldn't stop giggling. |
