My authority on the Reagans passed away last year, but I think
Mike Reagan pledged Lambda Chi at Arizona State and did not
make his grades. This'd be about 1956-7 or so.
Tom, I do not know of a Lambda Chi-TKE negotiation...I do, of course know of Lambda Chi & Theta Kappa Nu. TKE had a talk
with Kappa Delta Rho circa 1940 or so about a merger and the
new name was to be Tau Kappa Delta. The voted failed on the
Teke side. KDR still is seldom west of the Mississippi.
My word...there are yet many campuses TKE and LXA do not meet.
What a helleva merger that'd be!
I think the Phi Sigma Kappa & Phi Sigma Epsilon merger was one
that strengthened each...
Interesting it will indeed be to see what Amherst does with those
old, once-beautiful, fraternity houses. They took many of 'em away and gave them to the ****** and ******. Within a year they were virtually uninhabitable. The only four letter word
not used on those walls was "soap."

Well, you guys have suffered enough...grow and prosper!
