I personally think the worst reflection on a GLO comes not from opinions or admitting that sometimes you do "terrible" things like drink or swear or smoke or have sex for reasons other than procreation, but from people who can't spell. Seriously, members of GLOs are college-educated. It's you, not u. It's sorority, not soritry. It's because, not cuz. You (or your parents) spent a good hunk of money on getting that degree - show that you've deserved it.
I totally agree. The atrocity of some people's spelling makes me wonder about their chapter's GPAs. (Not that I have perfect spelling or grammar—which is scary, considering I'm a writer and editor—but at least I make the effort.)

Personally, I don't recall ever reading a post from a sister that would make me think to send her a PM to reprimand her. I think we all stress to PMNs during recruitment that they can be themselves in our org's, don't we? We can't possibly expect our members to conform to a perfect standard 100% of the time. We're only human, after all...except for Stepford Wife, of course.
