The WORST TV Commercial

I hate that stupid one minute weave commercial. I don't know if it's just shown in the New Orleans area or all around, but I absolutely hate it

I love that Diary Queen commerical about the cheesequake blizzard. The one where the man is carrying the little baby. That commerical is sooooo funny.

The commercial I really can't stand is the Quizno's Sub with the singing rats. I really don't understand why you would have rats selling anything, plus the song sucks that they are singing.

I agree with neosoulchild, that new Dairy Queen one is hella funny with the baby kickin his dads azz.

Here are some more commercials I simply can't stand:

-The waffle commercial where the man is pouring syrup into every little square and then puts blueberries on it. Then his wife (or woman anyway) comes into the kitchen, holdin a baby and says "you didn't go to work at all today..., did you? The commercial looks so cheap

-I can't stand that McDonald's commercial with that old school rap about the old lady swipin a card to have her little meal.

-I don't like all the Gusher commercials where the peoples' heads turn into the fruit. That's so ugly.

The white castle (or maybe wendy's) commerical about the made with the double decker burger and holding up his thumb looking at both sides of the argument. "single or double" then his girl walks in and says something. he doesn't like it and goes the picture and say single, together.

I think it is so dumb.

I haven't read the whole thread, but I have to chime in with my all-time most gross commercial. I think it's a Lamisil commercial for the toenail fungus. Well, there is a cartoon of a foot (and I hate feet anyway), and out of NOWHERE the toenail flips up and there is some kind of fungi monster that is embedding himself into the toenail bed. He has all his friends under there and stuff...it is nasty! It actually scares me a little...as much as a commercial can, it just makes me itch or something. I always turn my head when that commercial comes on.

I love this thread!! So, since I have a little time to kill...

There was/is a commercial in the ATL area for a company that buys junk cars. On the commercial, this older African American woman is looking at her broken down car in the driveway, calls the company, and says something like, "Come get this junk car...be in a hurry!"

Then another woman comes on the screen (from the company), tows the car and gives the woman money, all in $1 bills. She must have given her all of $4!!!

I cannot stand that commercial with Ron Jeremy selling that "male enhancement" stuff. It looks soooo cheesy and silly.

The Tampax commercial where the couple is in a boat and it leaks and the woman stops it up with a tampon. Eww!

The Swoops commerical where everyone is holding a Swoop and dancing to "Whoomp! There It Is!" How stupid!

Any of those Welch's commercials with the little kids talking about how good the juice is. They just grate on my nerves for some reason.

The Pepto Bismol commercial where the people in the office have different problems and after taking Pepto, they are all doing this stupid line dance.

It was for a home furniture store called Quality Home Furniture, or the Big Q.

Well, this voiceover guy was singing, off key,"The Biiiiiiig Q, THE BIIIIIIIIG Q, QUALITEEEEE HOME FURRRRRNIIIIIIIICHURRRRRRR!

OMG, not only was it off key, his voice was straining and cracking trying to hit the high notes. It sounded annoying as Hades, and I cringed everytime the commercial came on.

I swear, I wished Simon Cowell was doing American Idol back then, b/c I would have loved to see him call this dude on the carpet and say, "Don't you ever in your life try to sing again. It was that horrendous. And I really mean this!"

C'mon, (former) Clevelanders, tell me that I'm not dreaming this up; it was THAT BAD!

I HATE the new Kool-Aid commercial with the kids having different Kool-Aid stands. When the girl sees the little boy's stand, she says, "Oh no he didn't!"

Any commercial talking about the nastiness of the toilet bowl brush. Man, I hate it when they catch me eating. That is just PURE D disgusting.

Anybody who needs a commercial to spell out the fact that are germs in the toilet has a problem. Drop it already!


Also, the commercial about "Body Soil. What the hale is body soil? That's some stuff they made obviously to make me puke. If you can't sell a product without the puke factor, something is wrong with your marketing strategy.

I hate the new Six Flags comercial with the old man dancing. He just creeps me out. I also hate any commercial where they have someone black dancing when it's not necessary ala the kit kat & pepto bismol commercials currently airing.

I didn't know they were still showing that toenail fungus commercial. I had to leave the room whenever it came on.

I don't especially like the Skippy elephants either.

I LIKE the old guy dancing in the Six Flags commercials. He's nice and peppy!
