I used to hate writing thank you notes and would make my mom help me think of good adjectives to use. I didn't want to write those bad cards that are one sentence. But then I got married, and I bought a book to help me write them. I actually got complimented on my thank you notes after that! I still use the book, it really helps me think of how to verbalize what I'm thinking.
