I have to agree. I think the guy I recently started dating is incredibly hot. I also thought that he was the type who would never in a million years talk to me if I met him in a bar (he being hot and trendy, me being average in my opinion). I told him this about a week after we met and he basically told me I was crazy.
You never know what he's thinking until you actually talk to him. A simple "hi neighbor" isn't going to cost anything.
