How to talk to my crush?
 

Why does this always happen, well its the end of the semester and I have spoted the cutest guy. Well had I been around my apartment building I would have found out earlier that he is one of my neighbors. I have been living here for the whole school year. I guess you only see who you want to see.

He's in a fraternity. My only problem is that since he is so cute he has a ton of girls around him all the time. Maybe my confidence is a little low from dealing with the guy before. But I want to take a chance and meet him.

So, what should I do. I'm pretty sure I will see him out these last two couple of weeks of school. I know that I'm going to his fraternity's end of ths semester party so maybe I could talk to him then. But I want to kind of talk to him before that if possible.

It feels good to have a crush again and this guy is really hot.

Just talk to him! He's a human being just like you with hangups and flaws. He may not even realize he's a hottie. If he does, then he's more trouble than he's worth. Go get him, tiger!

I have to agree. I think the guy I recently started dating is incredibly hot. I also thought that he was the type who would never in a million years talk to me if I met him in a bar (he being hot and trendy, me being average in my opinion). I told him this about a week after we met and he basically told me I was crazy.

You never know what he's thinking until you actually talk to him. A simple "hi neighbor" isn't going to cost anything.

boy do I have a story for you.

so I get a random call from a number I do not recognize. It is a girl that I went to HS with, WHICH I also go to college with. she asked me to dinner tommorow night, but I am busy with greek week practice, so we are having lunch instead.

DING DING DING! I thought of this thread immediately right after I got off the phone.

now its not like her and I are friends. We hardly knew each other in high school. we were part of different crowds I guess. She was a good girl, I was a bad boy. She got good grades, I got bad grades. She didn't go to parties, I went to parties. She played tennis and was a cheerleader, I was in the surf club. she hung out with people in the spirit club, the honor roll people, the "good cookie cutter girls". i was in the surfer lets get drunk and high crowd.

In fact, we had a german class and one day she asked me what college I wanted to go to. I told her I didn't want to go, instead I had just wanted to open up a surf shop. Boy did she think I was a loser.

anyways, obviously we ended up going to the same school. we didn't know we went to the same school until our sophomore year. anyways, I hardly ever saw her, until about a month and a half ago. i was so happy to see her because no one from my HS ever goes to my school, so I introduced her to a few fraternity brothers and bought her a beer (we can drink on campus). she was really cool and alot of my bros thought she was bangin cute.

well whatever, i never saw her again...until a week ago @ the library (yes, stoners gotta get their study on too you know). anyways, she got my #, but I didn't really bother to get hers. How big of a dumbass am i? I just thought she wanted my # just to keep in touch

well, after the call. I get an IM from another girl I went to HS with who was friends with her.

apparently she has always had a secret crush on me, since HS. which is weird because she always had this preppy yuppy boyfriend. what would a girl like this want to do with a dog like me?

anyways, even though we are really different, I certainly will look at her differently now. she is very very cute. a petite woman i might add too. so hey, why not? she is a way cool too. i give it 10 minutes before she decides that i am a loser and goes after one of my bros or some rich dude.

so I tell you because.... she asked me out, and so Should you! well, ask the guy you have a crush on. not me.

ok so the question is HOW do you talk to him, because you obviuosly want to. lets start out by just saying hi to him. set yourself up where you can see him more often. just smile to him. the more visible you are to him, the more you will appear in his head.

that is what he will start to think when he see's you more! unless you are a 1 legged monkey.

Just go over to his to apartment. You're his neighbor, just be like "hi whats up" That is how I met my cute as hell neighbors.

Yeah, ask him out. That follows after you to his place. I read Bobby The Don's post and that is what made me think of it.

Totally just talk to him. I have gone after guys before and it always (or almost always) turns out for the best... at least until we break up a year (or two, or three, or four) later.

I was looking forward to talking to him but he was not out tonight. Even though he was not out tonight I still had fun.

I have another chance to talk with him tommorrow at his fraternity's party on Saturday.


Hopefully I can talk to him.

Added: Oh I just got this idea from reading everones post. I am going to ask him about the party on Saturday just some small talk about it.

No, my sisters don't really hang out with the fraternity that much some of them are groupies to one fraternity and the others love the hockey boys. So I am going to take a chance and meet him myself without my social circle of friends. Me I tend to hang out with everybody.

I don’t know if it holds true for your campus but most fraternities have a bar on or near campus that they consider “their” territory. Find out what bar his fraternity hits up on a regular basis and start going. You will either meet him or meet someone who can give you the inside track.

That was a good story--sounds like my love life! I was the "good girl" but I always seem to like the most "unsuitable" guys, but people don't realize those kind are the most fun to date.

annice, next time you see him say hello and ask how he's doing. Just something to make him talk. Ask about his fraternity's party. If he seems friendly, tell him you'll see him there. Just make him talk! :D

The crush results

Well it comes to my knowledege that he went home over the weekend to take home some of his stuff. His fraternity's party was really fun. But I did invite some of his roommates to our pre-party for this Thursday (so hopefully he would come too)

If not I am sure I will see him at the bar it's the last thursday night here and from what I hear there are a lot of parties going on tommorrow.

So I'm sure I'm meet him ;)

My High School had a surf club, it was a 5 minute drive from the beach. And yes, people that are in High School do drink. We used to kill 32oz Bud Lights after football/baseball practice.

Well, I finally spoke to him. I invited him out to celebrate my B-Day at the bar with some of my sisters.

Not sure if anything will result from it but it worth a try. By taking a risk.
