I have my norman sheild so I looked it up for you. In 1988 the teddy bear and the nautilus shells were adopted as symbols. I think the teddy bear is a sweet thing to give your little... plus a katydid is kinda hard to find. though recently I started the alum newsletter for my chapter and I entitled it the Katydid corner
