Teddy Bear Mascot?????
 

Just wondering.....

Is the Teddy Bear mascot something new? I'd never heard of this being one of KD's mascots until about a year ago.

When I was in college we only had the Katydid as a mascot (plus the nautilus shell and dagger symbols).

I know that Kappa Delta's website lists the Teddy Bear as a mascot, so I was wondering whether it's a new mascot...or maybe my chapter just wasn't into it.

I have my norman sheild so I looked it up for you. In 1988 the teddy bear and the nautilus shells were adopted as symbols. I think the teddy bear is a sweet thing to give your little... plus a katydid is kinda hard to find. though recently I started the alum newsletter for my chapter and I entitled it the Katydid corner http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif
