When I was in college, we called this date function "Find a Mister For Your Sister."

We would set up two large sized posters in our TV room. One poster was labeled "The Sisters." This listed the name of every sister. It also had a blank space next to each name. If you had a boyfriend or your own date, you wrote in "Boyfriend," etc. This way, sisters could see who was available for being set-up!

The second poster was labeled "The Misters."

If someone wanted to set you up, or you wanted her to, she would write her name in the blank space next to yours (so everyone knew you were being set up with someone) on The Sisters poster. Then, the sister setting you up would write the name of the boy and his affiliation on the the poster labeled "The Misters."

The Social Chair takes the list of Misters and prepares the invitations. Then we go to each fraternity house to serenade the fraternity and give out our invitations, announce the event, etc.

For the actual evening, we would go roller skating. It was a lot of fun! One year we went to Disney Quest. Before each date function, everyone comes to the house for "Mocktails" and to pose for photos. Naturally, we do cute t-shirts and put out a banner outside the house that reads the name and date of the event. It's a lot of fun!
