we have a house owned by the college, but it operates like a suite or floor. There is space for 10 women, 3 doubles, 4 singles. 3 bathrooms (one double has its own) but on the first floor we have a large living room/fireplace, a nice dinning/study room- the worlds best sunlight! and then a large kitchen. It is pretty roomy, we have our parties there. oh and we have the laundry in the basement and a storage room. We use our living room for chapter and stuff.
We have the biggest sorority house on campus (both residence and space wise) Theta Pi Gamma has a cute little house, and Kappa Gamma Lambda has a floor, not even w/ a lounge. But they kinda all work the same way. We have our housing policies to fill the space, the college only mandates that they have to be initiated members. AST and Theta give keys to all initiated members. It works well, our house is sooooo cute!
