Got ashes at mid-day at the chapel and then had seafood for dinner. Sister Mary Attila-the-Hun would have been proud.

I fasted all day on Wednesday and got my ashes at 5:30. I saw so many people with ashes throughout the day. The church was absolutely packed at 5:30. It was standing room only. Apparently there are Catholics galore in New York City.
