So for those of you out there that celebrate Ash Wednesday...

Did you go to church and get your ashes today?

I did!

i didn't and didn't see many on kids' foreheads.

I'll be getting my ash on at the 8:00 all-university Mass.

My sister would be there too, if she wasnt away from Marquette co-oping in Minneapolis!!!

I got ashes today, this was the first time since I've been to college because I usually have class when we have campus mass.

my sister didnt know about ashes. when she was at work, a customer came in with ashes on the forehead. my sister's said 'um, you have something on your head'.

Yes, I got ashes. We had a very brief service. Then I had to hot-foot it upstairs to practice handbells.

Oh.My.Word. So I'm walking home from the all-University Mass, and these two grad students who were in one of my classes last semester, no joke, were staring at people's heads like "Why are all these dirty kids walking around?"

Now I can excuse this in most people - but hi, you're second year grad kids at a Catholic school. Get with it.

I got mine tonight!

I am so proud of myself...I went to church andddddd remembered not to eat meat!!

I got mine!! And I didn't eat meat!!! I had to wash my ashes off early though because we had composites today and I wen to mass at 12.

yep.. me and my big couldn't track down anywhere to go get them at at about 7:45.. so she called and we met up at the SJSU Catholic Ministry Center place (dont know official name) it was cool because a LOT of greeks were there.. 3 DGs, 5 or 6 OXs, a few PIKEs, 2 DZs.. way cool.. then we went and watched inter-fraternity bball and saw a ton of the bball players and spectators with them on.. it was cool
