Lectures finished for the day and I am headed to cocktails at my Professor/advisor's residence (actually these are usually fun as he always has a really interesting visiting type, and he pours a good drink) and then dinner with a 1L I met earlier this week. Since this is both a first dinner date and a "go to the Prof's" evening I am wearing an olive Harris tweed three piece herringbone suit with a cream tattersol shirt and a dark hunter green tie. Dark oxblood brogues and a Barbour wax jacket (its sort of cold tonight). Oh, and yes I will have my pin on my vest under my suit coat. We are both Catholic so it will be seafood tonight (Friday in Lent) and there is a really great place I have been meaning to hit since I got back.
