Uh...read back. That was my point. He is known (probably likes the title -- in any event, not my words) as a gossip columnist.

Whether he's right in this case (in the end) or not, he is reporting rumors. Hardly the credible source I would quote.

But wait, you say, who says they're rumors? Well, he reported when and who were going to break the story -- and it didn't happen.
