Let me flip the script ...
Quite a few years ago (when I was but a callow youth), I went on a road trip to
<ahem> visit some pledgees we had on line at another school in the state. When I saw the line, lo and behold ... there was an old buddy of mine "from the neighborhood" on line!
He was giving me that look like
"could you cut me some slack - for old times sake?" I wasn't having it - and he was MOST salty with me! (Well, as salty as a pledgee could be.)
Needless to say, the next time I saw him, he was frat and all was forgiven .. but it was a pretty funny moment!
