I was an English major concentrating in writing and am in grad school now. If you're not 100% percent sure you want to be a English professor, I would suggest making the switch. It'll be much easier for you to get an occupational therapy job. But good luck to you, no matter what you decide. And feel free to PM me.

I considered switching majors a few times but decided to just stick it out because I love writing as well, but grad school has been a nightmare for me. I wish I'd either taken Fashion Merchandising or Historical Preservation...my interests are all over the place.
