Yup, I'm a Cyclone!
Supposedly, when it was decided we needed a mascot, they used a Cardinal because cardinal and gold are the school colors. In 1940somethingorother they held a contest to name the mascot and 14 entries turned in Cy. The first entrant won a whopping $10!
Oh and we did
slugbug :insert color: which was often followed by "no slugs back". Hubby and I have also incorporated the PT Cruiser Flick on our long car rides.
