Sorors, you said the exact words, we all have sinned a fell short of the glory. Yes people will scorn him, but just last night during Bible study, I always heard this, but I actually read that we are not justified or found righteous by our actions, but by what we "believe". That could be found in Romans 4, as it refers to Abraham being justified by GOD because he believed his word.
I sad for the family, but through Christ this a mild stepping stone and if they endure everything will work out.
