LuaBlanca, I was sorta on the phone during that scene, but in general, I have been seeing a LOT of good acting on Days.
Hell, I'd act my heart out, too, if I didn't know if I was going to be welcome back from week to week.
Anyway, I sat here and re-read the majority of all of these posts in this thread....and really....NONE of us are happy with this storyline. The most it's doing is attracting some looky-loos and old fans who just want to see what the show is doing. I really can't imagine what they will do once this storyline is over.
And somebody said way earlier that Alice Horton was going to die (maybe not as part of the current storyline, but I think she will). I mean, she might as well....the show will just plain be DIFFERENT, now and always.
It's not that I don't find the storyline entertaining, because I do....but it's hard to deal with so many changes at once. It's like a gimmick....nobody likes gimmicks. They are like the Nike (Reebok?) PUMP sneakers. They were cool for all of six months, but then wee look back and wonder why the hell we thought they were cool.
This storyline has dragged out ENTIRELY too long. We have been talking about this since August. It's time for Days to bring this puppy home.
