That is correct, Soror. The Limited sold Lane Bryant to
Trashy, err, Charming Shoppes Inc. in 2001 or so. And I am royally SICK of much of their stuh. In 2002, I bought a couple of cute summer dresses (a white pique I brought to Leadership and an LBD), but now, NOTHING. Their durn pants don't fit me (I have a very small waist and big butt).
It seems that the management has real contempt for its clients. My core wardrobe is bought at places like Talbots Woman, Off Fifth Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet and Nordstrom Rack. Very happy that I live in SoCal.
