Let's clarify this a little... DG was actually founded in 1873 at The Lewis School for Girls in Oxford, Mississippi which was located very close to Ole Miss. The Lewis School for Girls and the DG chapter later became a part of Ole Miss.
I also assumed that we were talking about the original founding chapters of GLO's, whether they have the alpha designation or not.
