Some of "us" are afraid of banks (I know someone whos momma STILL keeps all her money under her mattress!   and some check cashing places charge ghastly amounts to cash a check. This card serves as a way for people to have access to their money without paying exhorbitant fees.
MsBlue, I was thinking of using my PINK card (that is a lot of pink on one little card, lol) in the same manner..having access to my entire check has not been a good thing for me.. lol
