As one who saw the entire original series way back when over 25 years ago, I was quite impressed with the modernized retelling of the
Battlestar Galactica saga. Purists will beg to differ, though.
Besides, those old Monogram Colonial Viper plastic models made for good conversions to flying model rockets! (Though there were officially-licensed flying models, but they were grossly simplified.)
Dammit, I missed out on the limited-edition 4-CD version of the series soundtrack!
