Ideal, I hear that! Rev. Al would have my vote as well.

I do think the relaxer needs to go, though. That is some mess. Everytime I see him, I wonder, is he married? Is he, y'all? My husband couldn't walk around like that. Sorry. Get a fade.[/B]
He was recently in Ebony. He said that he and James Brown have a special relationship. Since Al was a youngster, he's been styling that as a tribute to Brown and as a show of their kinship. He even sported it during Brown's trips to the "big house." I doubt he'll get rid of it. But have you pictured the do as of late? It's looking rather tight, now. But to be taken seriously, the relaxer would really need to go. But being the native New Yorker that I am, and being used to "Rev. Pork Chop"'s appearance, I'd miss it. I really would. It's a part of his personality.

Here's what I find interesting. If you've have read Race Matters and Cornell West's chapter on Black leadership, then you would be as surprised as I am that he is leading the exploratory effort for Sharpton. Any comments on that? Anyone?

As ST has stated, the good Rev. is married. He and his wife Kathy have been married for over 20 years. They have two girl children.
