Onenine08 is of course 1908 read as individual numbers. As you all know, on the yard it is common to hear Alphas doing the "one nine -- 0 6" or "one one one one nine -- 0 6" thang. Well we used it with "08" in a step show one year and I just claimed it as my screen name. And the only way for a person to pronounce it right when reading it would be to spell it out.

I'm kinda late on posting to this. I was in my post-graduation mode about this time and wasn't checking the e-mail.

Nikki- This is the nickname that my godmother gave me. She's the only one who calls me this. It is based on my middle name. My family and friends call me by my first name.

25- I'm 25 years old. Most of my friends (youngest is 27) and family say that I have wisdom beyond my years.

I chose my name because, as Prince said, "Baby I'm a Star! I won't ever stop until I reach the top!" And also because Mos Def and Talib Kweli confirmed that I am a Black Star. So right now, I am just waiting for my time to shine which will definitely come in the near future! Y'all will see me on the red carpet!
