at our school, the person doing bid matching reads, "jane doe, XYZ" and if that XYZ chapter has her on her A list, they say match. If she is on their second list, they say "hold." She is held onto by that chapter until either it releases her bc they have reached quota and not gotten to her, or they finally after getting to her on the list (people above her on the list have matched other chapters) match her. Kinda confusing. SDT will probably hold you until they either reach quota and release you or get to you on the list and match you (Since you preffed them first, they get first pick on you). If you're released by SDT and AZD hasn't reached quota they'll get you.
