Why does my threads always get deleted?

Yeah, one of my threads got deleated yesterday too. It was one of my less controversial threads, in my opinion. Weirdly, the controversial thread I started day before yesterday in the News and Politics forum that has the potential to get very ugly is still up.

Oh well, it's not my decision.
