I've stated before that Texas Tech's Panhellenic is allowing all groups to COB up to 165, so *most* groups at Tech have opportunities available. Some groups have many more positions available than others.

All groups are excited to have the opportunity to fill their houses with great women prior to next year's recruitment. Panhellenic hopes that all chapters will come back with similar chapter sizes.

It is my understanding that most Tech sororities are picking up members here and there -- not by hosting special events. That being said, two or three are, indeed, hosting a series of organized events like the ones Raiderchic is going to.

There is no formal COB or Panhellenically organized informal recruitment at Tech. So it's a free-for-all. Who really knows who is doing what? That's kind of how Panhellenic is at TTU -- and I don't necessarily feel that it is a bad thing.

I can only tell you what I know about my sorority: Alpha Phi. We are very close to the maximum allowable membership at this time. We are taking our time filling the select opportunities we do have available. We are not hosting any formal COB events.

There are other Tech sorority members on the boards who may post information about their chapters if they feel like sharing that information.

* If you are wondering just what groups are at Texas Tech, here they are: Alpha Phi, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Gamma, Delta Delta Delta, Zeta Tau Alpha, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi and Chi Omega.
