Oh, that's weak compared to what people will do here.
There were kids camping out for over a week to redeem their vouchers for the Ohio State game. (The way our system works is that if you order season tickets, you get vouchers for every game that you turn in starting the Wednesday before the game. That way you can get a block of tickets next to your friends if you want. So these people weren't even waiting for weeks to ensure they got tickets -- they were waiting for weeks to ensure they got their pick of seats.)
My friends started camping out last Wednesday for season basketball tickets seat choice (basketball tickets work like football tickets, only you only have one seat the whole season instead of different seats at every game). Tickets don't even start getting sold until NOVEMBER. And no, my friends were not the first in line.
