Something like this but on a smaller scale happened to my chapter last year when over a dozen girls got horribly sick after a PIKE exchange. What made it even worse was that it happened smack dap in the middle of midterms and girls were literally throwing up in the bushes before going into the midterms. Lucky for me I was unable to go because I had a midterm the next day and so I didn't get the "PIKE SARS" as we jokingly called it but I definitely know what it was like to have dozens of your sisters around the house sick with some unknown disease.
