I agree that they are not sexualized and are of good quality and value. I also believe that the books are of good value as well and does teach to a certain extent about those time periods---as do the dolls and their collections do.
I also like the fact that they are not marketed to children by way of tv commercials, and if they are still around and kicking when i had lil girls of my own, I'll buy them for them as well eventhough i've saved all my Kirsten stuff for that reason
