I think you should return it. Explain to her that you haven't been accepted to that chapter yet. You may find a different chapter you want to belong to and this gift could cause problems. I just feel that you shouldn't own greek stuff until you become greek. Even if you are in high school or whatever and know what chapter you want you still shouldn't buy those greek letters whatever the item may be. Hopefully your girlfriend will understand.
