I heard of a legacy (not at my school) of a big national sorority who got released after the second invite round (as in just not invited to pref. night). The other sororities released her b/c they thought she was deffinetly going to go where she was a legacy (or that's what was conveyed to me). The girl got NO pref. night invites, and she was (from what i hear) an awesome girl. She took part in informal recruitment at her school last year, and actually ended up pledging another chapter. I know that the other sororities were shocked that the original group didn't take her b/c she was the ONLY legacy at the school. very strange.
