last night at chapter our vpII (new member mom) told us that she had heard people telling potential new members that they were wanted as littles; we haven't even had bid day yet; these girls were coming down for recruitment events and there's no guarantee yet of who's coming back; we were told that if we tell a pnm that we want her for a little, we won't be able to take one this semester; and personally, i think its a good idea; telling someone that they're going to be your little is just like dirty rushing and i would never do it; what happens if she's not your little and she gets upset? even worse, what if she doesn't get a bid?
