Random meeting Phi Mu stories....

I once met a Phi Mu in the Philly International Airport. I was wearing a sweatshirt set of letters that gets passed down in my family, and I jsut happen to be wearing them on the airport that day. And I see this other set of letters in the crowd. So I go RUNNING up to her and almost tackled her. And she was like...Wow, uhm, way over-enthusiastic. LOL She was from Michigan, and it was just SO awesome to see my letters on someone I didn't know. Instant connection.

~~~
But by far the strangest meeting of Phi Mus I had was in New Orleans. My then-bf and I were driving cross-country from Arizona to GA and we stopped for a few days in New Orleans.
The first hotel we stayed in was awful, but anyway. Here's where it gets wierd. In the ballroom of the hotel there was this formal going on. no big deal, that happens in hotels all the time, right? Well I go into the bathroom cause I was coming down witha wicked UTI and I was in pain. And we'd been driving all day, so I look like a schlump, no make-up, hair not done...in pain...but I was wearing my bid day shirt by chance. So...I'm in the bathroom..in pain. I won't get graphic ;-) and I hear these two girls come in, rustling intheir formals gowns and they both go into the stall next to me to help each other lift their skirts. (You know, you've all been there in formal gowns ;-) ) And one of them says "Yeah, this is sisterly love." And my ears perked up. And then I know I heard "Phi Mu" in there too. So I knock on the wall and I say "Excuse me...are you Phi Mu sisters?" And they go "Yyeeesss..." And I was like "Oh my god! So am I!" So we come running out of the stalls and there they are in formal gowns and I look like a scruffball. They were from Alpha Lambda chapter at Louisiana Tech, and they were at the hotel for an ATO formal. But it was AWESOME to meet sisters in such a random setting.
Ok those are my random stories.
