Unhappy

Teachers were preparing to boycott St.Louis Public Schools, due to the districts refusual to give them a raise and the many job cuts. Also parents were talking about keeping their children home for the first day of school. This is to show their support for teachers in the chaos that has been caused by the contracted team, from New York, has been called in to fix the school districts problems

- If any of you have been watching the news, you have probably heard about the many school closings in St.Louis.Well,I am a part of the St.Louis Public School District, luckily,my school will NOT be closing.Unfortunately,a lot of teachers who have built their lives on teaching will be loosing their jobs.I aspire to be a Secondary Teacher and things like this somewhat discouarge me from my goals.I look at this situation and I say to myself that it is only going to get worse.I am asking you all to please pray for those in authority over the St.Louis Public School District,as well as,the teachers, parents, and students.
