I am about to become a greek teacher, this is my internship year! But I shy away from mentioning my affiliation while at school...I worry that the negative connotation associated with greek life may concern the administration, I am afraid they may think I am a raging alcoholic or something...I live in a very rural, conservative area
. However, my cooperating teacher from my field placement last year was part of an african-american sorority when she was in college, and one of my professors is a sorority girl as well, though I forget which. Oh and I just remembered, my high school spanish teacher was a ZTA.
