Take for example how many Beta's separated by the North/South border in the civil war, wore their Beta badges on the brims of their hats, and during the war, their lives were spared by fellow Beta's (on the enemy side) because their brotherhood was recognized and was stronger than the war.

That is the coolest thing I've read all day. Granted, I just woke up, but it's still WAY cool!
