Well each chapter does their committees differently ... so I would suggest contacting the chair of each one and asking wht they do/feel their committee stirves to acheive. I know my chapter has
Scholarship: Is entrusted with keeping sister's GPA's up to standard and rewarding those who aim high and do well academmically... usually involves enforcing the scholarship improvement program and giving out scholarship pearls to those who did well the semester before or finding other ways to encourage doing well in class.
Alumnae/historian... keeps a scrap book of the year, sends out alum/parent newsletter, plans sapphire ball, parents event
sisterhood/social... plans all sisterhood and social events
philanthropy cordinates all philanthropy events and makes sure our donation gets into national
we also give our MOC and MRC a committee since their jobs require team work to do everything.
Fundraising plans all fundraising events for the chapter.
That's the only ones we have... if your chapter has more you should definitely talk to the chair of the committee or your Vice Archon to find out what they do for your chapter.
