To answer everyones questions, here I go
To be able to petition the AGC (All Greek Council) we have to hand over a copy of our contitution and bylaws to the members that way they can look over it to confirm we are a legit organization.
But, I and the other girls believe that the people w/the most problems are the ones who really didn't read it in its entirety.
Personally I believe our consit' and bylaws are very professional and they will serve its purpose. I also think that people are just worried now, because majority just thought that we were a passing fad and we weren't really serious about it.
On the offices, I went through MANY Nat'ls bylaws and guess what..majority didn't even go through the duties for more than a sentence or two! The local's were wanting us to put for the offices of what "kind of person" should take that office and talk about character and all. I was like, well, if we put a person that is shy in something like rush chair it will help her "develop" the skills needed in such office. But apparently they believe we should have "descriptions" of what kind of people should take office. I now think that's a buch of bullcrap.
