OK.

When the Alpha chapter was established at Colby in 1874, there were not many women enrolled so the founders set enrollment at 25. As the years went on, more women were enrolled at Colby and Alpha chapter reached it's max membership. It was decided that Beta would open, also at Colby. When Beta's membership reached 25, it was decided that Gamma would be established. The founders then realized that for Sigma Kappa to flourish, the sorority would have to expand past the walls of Colby College. It was decided that (and help me out girls, I don't have my book in front of me) that no more would be initiated into Beta and Gamma chapters, and Alpha would be filled to maximum. Delta chapter was opened at Boston University and it was the first chapter to be established outside of Colby College.

Did I do good?!?! Huh??
