as for required recs, I don't think BG cares. I don't think it even mentions recs on the panhellenic website, and even the recruitment chair said that while it can't hurt ever, it doesn't matter.
But the way I look at it is this:
If BG doesn't require recs, then most of the girls probably won't have them.. but I will! So there!
